The Customs Handling of Import and Export Freight (CHIEF) will finally be phased out businesses must shift to the Customs Declaration Service (CDS) for their export declarations by March 30, 2024. Business will have already moved over to CDS for all their imports and will need to ensure they can log in to access their CDS dashboard via the Government Gateway.
